How to download a Firmaprofesional certificate

Overview​

When Firmaprofesional issues a certificate, the certificate holder receives a one-time download code. This guide explains how to download the certificate from the personal area.

Download as certificate holder​

Before you begin​

You need:

  • The one-time download code sent to your email address
  • The download permission assigned to your role in Redtrust
  • Access to the Redtrust personal area

Steps​

  1. Sign in to the Redtrust personal area with your credentials.
  2. Go to Mis certificados > Firmaprofesional.
  3. Locate the certificate in the Emitido state.
  4. Click Descargar certificado.
  5. Enter the download code when prompted.
  6. The certificate downloads in PFX/P12 format.
warning

The download code is single-use. If you enter it incorrectly or use it, you cannot download the certificate again with the same code. If you need a new code, contact your Redtrust administrator. The certificate can only be downloaded once.

Resend the download code​

If the certificate holder has not received the code or needs a new one:

  1. Go to Certificados > Firmaprofesional in the admin console.
  2. Locate the request.
  3. Click Reenviar código de descarga.

Redtrust sends a new code to the holder's email address.

note

You can only resend the code if the certificate is in the Emitido state and the holder has not yet downloaded it.

Summary​

The certificate holder has downloaded their certificate in PFX format from the personal portal using the one-time code.
