Firmaprofesional integration
Overview
Firmaprofesional is a qualified Spanish Certificate Authority (CA). The Redtrust integration lets users with the appropriate role manage the complete lifecycle of certificates issued by Firmaprofesional directly from the admin console, without leaving the platform.
Through this integration, the operator acts as a Registration Authority (RA) for Firmaprofesional: they create the request, collect and upload the applicant's documentation, and issue the certificate. The end user only participates at the end of the process to download the certificate from their personal area.
Available certificate types
Certificates are organized into four categories. The profiles available for each request depend on your account configuration with Firmaprofesional.

Request lifecycle
Each certificate request goes through the following states in Redtrust:
| State | Description |
|---|---|
| Pedido | The request has been created. The contract is pending signature and evidence upload. |
| Evidencias completadas | The evidence has been uploaded. Pending identity validation in Horus. |
| Validado | Validation in Horus is complete. If the profile requires it, the legal representative must still be indicated in Redtrust. |
| Aprobado | The request is under review by Firmaprofesional. |
| Emitido | The certificate has been issued and is available for download. |
| Rechazado | Firmaprofesional has rejected the request. Check the reason in the request detail. |
| Cancelado | The request has been cancelled. |
Required permissions
Integration permissions are configured in Acceso > Roles, in the Firmaprofesional section of each role.

Operator certificate
For Redtrust to communicate with the Firmaprofesional API, you must configure an operator certificate in your profile. This is a PFX certificate that Firmaprofesional provides, which Redtrust uses to authenticate API calls.
